No Objection Certicate

As envisaged in the scheme for redeployment of surplus employees issued vide O.M. No. 1/18/88-CS.III dated 1.4.1989 of the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) and in the rules for regulating redeployment of surplus employee notified vide G.S.R. 99(E) dated 28.2.1990 of the Department of Personnel & Training, every Ministry /Department / Office of the Government of India, except those which are exempted, are required to intimate their direct recruitment vacancies, except those which are to be filled up on the basis of a competitive examination by the UPSC, to the Retraining & Redeployment Division ( formerly called as Surplus Cell ) of the Department of Personnel & Training for providing surplus employees for appointment against those vacancies. They can, however, fill up their vacancies if no suitable surplus employee is available with DoPT and ‘NOC’ is issued by DoPT.
